We pride ourselves in helping your child reach standards-based goals and master skills and concepts. But we are MOST proud of our main goal: To help your child reconnect with the joy in learning—especially with math and reading.
Step 1: Initial conversation with you as the caregiver
Schedule a call or videoconference with Megan to see if we can help take some educational stress off your super full plate. You can email Megan or call her directly.
Step 2: Virtual interviews
After an initial conversation with you as the caregiver to ensure we can meet your needs, we begin the educator match-making process. This includes:
Step 3: Matching, curated activity list, and suggested next steps
We'll search our international rolodex of educators to find the right match based on certifications, skills, content, and personality, and other requests on your end. And if we don't get it right the first time, we'll try it again! We set up a virtual meet-and-greet to ensure everyone is feeling like it's a perfect match. We currently have tutor-teachers on our team from Canada, the United States, and Ecuador.
Our tutor-teachers are all certified educators, each hand-picked, supported, and coached by Megan. We'll handle all the details—the vetting, time, and videoconference links, and all business items related to tutoring. We'll also ensure check-ins with you and your child to get feedback and ensure you have the enrichment tutor's credentials in-hand. Cocktail or glass of iced tea not included (but a recipe for one is!). We'll help you navigate any hiccups and celebrate beside you in your successes.
We provide a learning map to show the activity, the state standard, the desired outcomes, and notes from the tutor (and you'll have access to all of this). We also work hard to give you as much—or as little—information as you want as a caregiver. And if anything is not working for you or your child, you're not locked into a contract—everything is flexible based on your needs.
After matching, we'll provide you with a Proposed Next Steps document and tutor-teacher resumes. This will lay out the proposed plan, costs, frequency, and start dates. All of it is negotiable and it serves as a starting point for a conversation for how we will move forward to support your child.
If you are interested, we'll develop a personalized, Curated Learning List of recommendations based on findings from the interviews, which includes:
We are proud to partner with High Five Books to provide kids with just the right book and personalized recommendations!
Please contact Megan to discuss what we can do to fit your child's needs.
